What CAN I bring

TO YOUR TEAM

I bring a product mindset to design.

That means looking beyond screens and asking the questions that shape better outcomes: What is the real problem here? Where is the friction? What trade-offs are we making? What does the team need in order to build this well?

Most of my work has sat in products where trust and clarity directly affect performance, whether that’s improving onboarding flows, reducing friction in regulated journeys, or helping users move through complex services with more confidence and less effort.

I’m particularly comfortable in environments where there are multiple constraints in play: business priorities, legacy systems, time pressure, edge cases, compliance, or technical limitations. I enjoy bringing structure to that kind of complexity and helping teams move from ambiguity to clear, practical decisions.

How I work

I work best in close collaboration with product and engineering teams, especially when design is involved early enough to help shape the problem, not just the interface.

My process usually includes:

  • Framing the problem clearly before jumping into solutions.
  • Mapping flows and identifying friction points.
  • Exploring quickly and testing assumptions early.
  • Making trade-offs visible
  • Defining logic, behaviour, and interaction details clearly enough to support delivery
  • Staying involved through refinement, iteration, and design QA

I care about thoughtful work, but I’m also pragmatic. I know when to go deep, when to simplify, and when to move forward with the clearest viable solution.

with teams

I value teams that are curious, direct, collaborative, and honest about constraints. I like working with people who challenge assumptions, share ownership, and care about building something that actually works, not just something that looks finished.

I’ve collaborated closely with product managers, developers, QA, researchers, data, and business stakeholders, and I enjoy being part of the conversations that connect user needs with execution. For me, strong product design is not only about ideas, it’s about helping a team make good decisions together.

The kinds of problems I enjoy most

  • Complex user journeys with multiple states or scenarios
  • Trust-heavy flows where reassurance and clarity matter
  • Onboarding and activation experiences
  • Regulated or operationally complex products.
  • Cross-functional work that needs alignment, judgement, and focus.
  • Products that need to balance user needs, business goals, and delivery reality.

The best work I’ve been part of has never come from design in isolation.

How I’m evolving

Design is changing quickly, and I care about staying current in ways that are useful, not performative.

I’m actively exploring how AI can support better design workflows, especially in synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and structuring early concepts. What interests me most is where these tools can genuinely improve speed and clarity, while keeping product judgement, critical thinking, and human context at the centre.

I’m not interested in using new tools for the sake of it. I’m interested in understanding where they create real value.

more about me

Outside of product design, I’m deeply interested in personal growth, wellbeing, and practices that help people reconnect with themselves more honestly.

That side of my life has shaped the way I work too: I tend to listen carefully, stay calm under pressure, and look for what sits underneath the surface of a problem before rushing into answers. I care about depth, clarity, and meaningful progress, both in product work and beyond it.

Those interests don’t replace the practical side of how I work. They strengthen it.
